As seen on CNN, the goal of AllergyKids is to protect the millions of children with food alleriges. As obvious as it seems, there was not a universal symbol for children with food allergies until AllergyKids designed it and launched our organization on Mother’s Day 2006.
Today, it is now estimated that at least 1 out of every 15 children under the age of three has a food allergy. At AllergyKids, we designed a bright green stop sign that contains an exclamation point to make it easy to identify children with food allergies at school, in a daycare, in the lunchroom or at a birthday party in order to help prevent accidental allergic reactions.
AllergyKids is working with global corporations in our efforts to create universal awareness of these children, as well as leading global researchers in an effort to learn what has caused this sudden epidemic increase in the number of children with food allergies.
